A meaningful picture book about love ，the main character is a little preschool-age girl ，I had made 2 sketches of a girl riding on a lion. watercolor on paper gouache on handmade paper But, later on, the writer hoped the character could be more Malaysian style and chubby as it is more suitable for the name " Babloo".I tried to do 2 more sketches. gouache on handmade paper watercolor on paper (final decision) Finally, we decided to choose the last option, the little girl is chubby with short hair and she is Malaysian Chinese. We love the third option as well because of the little girl's action, hugging a love toy and this could be our front page illustration's reference.
